Independent
Encore’s advice is not tied to the sale of property, financial products or a predetermined transaction outcome.
About Encore
Encore Transition Advisory is an independent, advisory-only firm specialising in affluent downsizer and rightsizer transitions.
We work with private clients and across the professional ecosystem surrounding high-value later-life property decisions.
01 / Why Encore exists
Affluent homeowners are generally well supported when they are ready to sell, purchase, borrow, invest or obtain specialist advice.
The gap appears before those services can be used effectively.
A client may be considering the sale of a long-held family home, evaluating what comes next and confronting decisions that will shape the next stage of life. Multiple professionals may eventually become involved, yet no one is necessarily responsible for helping the client understand the transition as a whole.
Encore was established to provide that missing structure.
Our work helps clients clarify the broader pathway before transaction momentum, competing recommendations or external pressure begins determining the outcome.
02 / Where Encore fits
Encore does not replace private bankers, wealth advisers, accountants, lawyers, lenders, real estate agents or property specialists.
Each has an important and clearly defined role.
Encore works across those professional boundaries, helping the client understand the broader transition, identify the decisions requiring specialist input and bring the appropriate advice together within a coherent pathway.
We do not sell property, represent buyers or vendors, recommend financial products or receive transaction commissions.
Our value lies in the quality and independence of the advisory work.
03 / The Encore model
Encore’s advice is not tied to the sale of property, financial products or a predetermined transaction outcome.
Our work is focused specifically on affluent downsizer and rightsizer transitions and the organisations serving this market.
Engagements are private, structured and intentionally limited. The objective is clarity—not acceleration towards action.
Encore works across a trusted professional ecosystem, bringing the right expertise into the conversation while respecting established relationships.

04 / Founder
Craig Jervis founded Encore Transition Advisory after recognising a recurring gap in the way affluent homeowners were supported through major later-life property transitions.
Through direct engagement with more than 1,000 homeowners and investors, Craig observed that clients were often surrounded by capable transaction and professional specialists, yet still lacked an independent structure through which to understand the complete transition.
His work now spans private clients, developers, project marketers, private banks, wealth advisers, real estate organisations and other professionals serving the affluent 55+ market.
This provides Encore with a perspective across both sides of the market: how clients experience consequential transitions and how organisations attempt to understand, engage and support them.
05 / Building Encore
Encore is founder-led, but it is not intended to operate as a personality-led consultancy.
The business is built around specialist advisory methodology, clear professional standards, disciplined client engagements and trusted institutional relationships.
This matters because the value of Encore must exist beyond any one conversation or individual. Clients and professional partners should experience a consistent standard of thinking, independence and discretion whenever they engage the firm.
The objective is to establish Encore as the recognised specialist advisory firm within the affluent downsizer and rightsizer market.
06 / The name
The name Encore reflects the stage of life in which many clients find themselves.
It does not suggest an ending. It represents the opportunity to deliberately shape what comes next—with greater clarity, confidence and intention.
